The loop, end to end
- Enter the Junkyard from the base side.
- Collect Scrap. A viewer pointed out that the middle of the map is where to collect, rather than the edges near the entrance.
- Carry it back to your plot before your robot goes down.
- Spend it on levels for the robot you are actually fighting with.
- Repeat until the robot hits its level cap, then look at rebirth.
The step that costs new players the most is number three. Carried Scrap is on your robot, not in a bank.
What happens when you go down
Knocked-down robots drop what they were carrying. The shop sells one direct counter:
| Item | Robux (25 Oct 2026) | Effect stated by the shop |
|---|---|---|
| Scrap Shield | 29 | No carried-item loss for 15 minutes after a knockdown |
Fifteen minutes is short. Buy it because you are making a specific dangerous run, not as a permanent subscription. If you are losing loads to the same guard on the same route, change the route instead.
Space Junkyard pays more
After Update 1 the Space Junkyard gives 2.5x Scrap. That is the single biggest difference between the two maps, and it is why players move to Space as soon as they can survive there.
The trade is survival: Space is the map where the 40-minute boss cycle runs, and where the Space Drone slots live. If your robot cannot take a hit in the overworld Junkyard, the 2.5x will not save the run.
Titans: what the summons actually give
| Summon | Robux | What the shop says |
|---|---|---|
| JUNKYARD TITAN | 199 | Server-wide titan; players whose robots join the fight get Cash and Scrap, and the kill drops a scrap pile |
| SPACE JUNKYARD TITAN | 349 | Server-wide; 50% chance to carry a Golden Dice or a Golden Hammer |
Two details people get wrong. The 50% is "carries one of the two", not 50% each and not a guarantee for every participant. And because both summons are server-wide, another player's purchase can benefit you: you do not have to be the buyer to get paid.
Make one clean run
- Empty your route of distractions and pick a line you can repeat.
- Collect in the middle of the map where the density is higher.
- Turn around before your robot is low, not after.
- Bank the Scrap, then immediately spend it. Carried Scrap is only safe until the next fight.
- If you die on the way back twice, buy a Scrap Shield for the next attempt rather than a third run.
If you keep losing the load
- Same spot every time: that is a route problem. Take a different line back.
- Same enemy every time: that is a build problem. Defence and HP, not damage.
- Dying with a full load near the base: the run is too long. Bank twice as often for half the load.
What we could not verify
- Scrap per minute and how it scales with robot level.
- Exactly what kills a carrying player in each map region.
- Whether the 2.5x Space bonus stacks with Golden Hour's 2x Junkyard Scrap.
